Alex’s Story
Raised in the foggy hills and endless foodie streets of San Francisco—in Excelsior, to be exact—Alex is the perfect mix of city smarts, grounded calm, and charismatic badassery. Inquisitive by nature, she gravitates towards spontaneous adventures around the world, curriculum within academia and beyond, and winding down with a comedic and psychological podcast.
She’s equal parts sharp and silly, insightful and resourceful, magnetic and fun. She can find those mom and pop shops for a top notch treat, read a room like a therapist—because she is one—and for Margot, she ensures each day is filled with funny characters, compassionate guidance, and boundless love each time they are together.
Alex is thoughtful in ways most people rarely notice—quietly doing the thing that makes your day easier without needing credit for it. She doesn’t need the spotlight yet somehow, she always shines. Whether she’s deep in conversation or breaking tension with a perfectly timed butt wiggle, Alex brings warmth, wisdom, and joy into every space she’s in.
Tony will tell you: she’s the reason they’re so organized, the reason life flows the way it does—and the true feeling of home every time he hugs her.
Tony’s Story
Tony is a creator, a mover, and a master of making things happen. A choreographer, photographer, and storyteller, he moves through the world with creativity, emotional depth, and a drive to build meaningful experiences—for his art, his family, and his community.
As a father to Margot, Tony brings patience, emotional intelligence, and a deep understanding of child development into every interaction. He listens closely, leads with compassion, and finds that sweet spot between structure and tenderness. Whether he’s navigating big toddler emotions or celebrating everyday milestones, he’s fully present—and always learning.
He’s the kind of partner who can hold space for big feelings, order every dish off a menu (because why not?!), riff on the weirdest inside jokes, or dive into a deep late-night talk without missing a beat. Thoughtful and introspective, Tony is always asking the bigger questions—about himself, his relationships, and the world around him.
He’s the steady, the spark, and the soft place to land—and Alex still can’t believe she gets to marry him.
Our Relationship
Our love lives somewhere next to a bowl of noodles and a deep 1 am conversation—with laughter nestled comfortably around us.
We’re always on the hunt for the perfect milk tea, the tastiest snacks, and comfort food from any culture. Pretty much every meal is “our thing”—as long as we’re together, joking between bites while sharing stories and recalling memories.
We thrive in the in-between moments: lazy mornings before our alarms ring, mid-day hugs, big belly laughs in the middle of the night, and those quiet, unspoken pauses when we snuggle each other and take each other in.
We balance the silly and the serious—with dance parties, discussions on current events, chaotic animal impressions, and deep conversations about life, love, and parenting keep us grounded. We dream together, challenge each other to grow, and show up—day after day—with heart and curiosity.
Alex has helped Tony connect with emotions in ways he never thought possible and is the kind of partner who makes every moment with Margot magical, too. Tony helps Alex trust her instincts, step into her power, and know she’s loved exactly as she is.
Our relationship isn’t perfect—it’s better. It’s real, it’s evolving, and it’s ours.
